Privacy
This site has no user accounts, no comments, and no newsletter, and it doesn't collect any personal information directly. The only form is the suburb picker in the header: choosing a suburb navigates you to that suburb's page — with JavaScript on, entirely in your browser; with it off, as an ordinary page request, the same as clicking a link. It has no personal fields and stores nothing.
Finding your nearest suburb (“Near me”)
The header's “Near me” button asks your browser for your location through the standard Geolocation API, and only after you tap it and grant permission. Your coordinates are used entirely within your browser to work out which suburb centre is closest; you're then taken to that suburb's page. Your location is never sent to this site or to anyone else, and nothing about it is stored — the calculation runs against a small list of suburb-centre coordinates already built into the page. If you decline, nothing happens and you can still use the suburb picker. Because the match is to the nearest suburb centre, it's approximate — it doesn't pinpoint your exact position.
